Christmas Market at Schallaburg

What does Christmas smell like? Where do children's eyes sparkle the brightest? And where does Advent feel truly magical? From 11 to 13 December 2026, Schallaburg will be transformed into a festive Christmas wonderland for the whole family.

Set against the impressive backdrop of the Renaissance castle, skilled artisans will showcase their lovingly handcrafted creations and invite visitors to discover unique Christmas gifts. Surrounded by beautifully decorated market stalls, seasonal delicacies, and the enticing aroma of punch and freshly baked treats, guests can fully immerse themselves in the magic of Advent.

A varied entertainment program adds to the festive atmosphere. Throughout the day, visitors can enjoy musical performances by choirs, ensembles, brass groups, and interactive family concerts. Spectacular highlights also include traditional Perchten processions and the breathtaking fire show by Daidalos, which illuminates each evening of the event.

Children will find plenty to explore and enjoy. Puppet theatre performances, face painting, pony rides, a children's carousel, creative activity stations, and hands-on workshops offer fun and entertainment for all ages. The Christmas Market at Schallaburg is a memorable experience for both young and old alike.
